The BOI’s Board Approves Investment Promotion for 17 Projects Worth 78,000 Million Baht
Mrs. Hirunya Suchinai, Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), revealed after the BOI board meeting chaired by Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-o-cha that the board had approved 17 projects with a total investment value of 78,181.84 million baht include:
Projects in the Agriculture Group
Investment projects 1-4.
CPF (Thailand) Public Company Limited: Expansion of four projects in manufacturing animal feed, crop drying, and silo with a total investment value of 8,123.54 million baht. The first project investing in Roi-et with an investment value of 2,092.97 million baht. The second project investing in Chiang Rai with an investment value of 2,092.97 million baht. The third project investing in Samut Prakan with an investment value of 1,844.63 million baht. The fourth project investing in Prachinburi with an investment value of 2,092.97 million baht.
5. Inteqc Feed Company Limited: Expansion of the production of animal feeds, such as shrimp and fish feed, in Samut Sakhon, with a total investment value of 1,985 million baht.
6. Betagro Public Company Limited: Expansion of animal feed, such as poultry, pig, and other livestock feed, manufacturing in Songkhla, with a total investment value of 1,999 million baht.
7. Panel Plus MDF Company Limited: Expansion of medium density fiber board production in Songkhla with a total investment value of 2,151.8 million baht.
8. Toto (Thailand) Company Limited: Expansion of porcelain or vitreous china ceramic sanitary ware and bathroom accessories manufacturing in Saraburi with a total investment value of 3,513 million baht. Projects in the Metal and Automotive Industry Group
9. Ford Motor Company (Thailand) Limited: Expansion of pick-up vehicle manufacturing in Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate, Rayong, with a total investment value of 6,269 million baht.
10. AED Fabrication Company Limited: Expansion of manufacturing of metal structures for industrial work, such as metal components for steam boiler used in the production of electricity from biomass and waste, and pressure tank manufacturing in Chonburi, with a total investment value of 1,038.7 million baht.
11. Century Tire (Thailand) Company Limited: Expansion of vehicle tire and compound rubber manufacturing in Lakchai Muang Yang Industrial Estate, Rayong, with a total investment value of 844.04 million baht. Generation of Electricity from Natural Gas and Airlines
12. CHP 1 Company Limited: Expansion of generation of electricity from natural gas and steam at 304 Industrial Park Company Limited, Prachinburi, with a total investment value of 4,983 million baht.
13. Nok Airlines Public Company Limited: Air freight transport with 8 rented Bombadier Q400 airplanes (passenger capacity of 86 seats and cargo freight capacity of 1 ton) for a period of 8 years with a total investment value of 6,752.8 million baht.
14.Thai AirAsia X Company Limited: Air freight transport with 6 rented Airbus A 330 airplanes (passenger capacity of 377 seats and cargo freight capacity of 15 ton) for a period of 8 years with a total investment value of 18,700 million baht.
15. Gulf NRV 1 Company Limited: Generation of electricity from natural gas and steam, and industrial water production in Nakhon Ratchasima with a total investment value of 5,745 million baht.
16. Gulf NRV 2 Company Limited: Generation of electricity from natural gas and steam, and industrial water production in Nakhon Ratchasima with a total investment value of 5,745 million baht.
17. Gulf NC Company Limited: Generation of electricity from natural gas and steam, and industrial water production in Prachinburi with a total investment value of 5,426 million baht.
